    Type 8700 - Mass flowmeter for gases (MFM)

    Type Description

    The mass flow meter (MFM) Type 8700 is suitable for measuring aggressive gases, gas mixtures and in the area of application for alternating gases. A thermal capillary sensor, with sensor elements not in contact with medium, is used for this. The forms in contact with medium are made of high-quality stainless steel and FFKM as a seal material for high chemical resistance. The 8700 can optionally be calibrated for two different gases; the user can toggle between these two gases. As electrical interfaces both, analogue standard signals and fieldbuses are available.

    • Nominal flow ranges from 0.005 l/min to 15 l/min (regarding nitrogen)
    • High accuracy in measurement and repeat accuracy
    • Suitable for aggressive gases
    • Simple switching between operating gases
    • Optional: fieldbus interface
